Kodiak InstaPoC™, the next-generation of PoC v2 Push-to-Talk (PTT) technology, provides sub-second Push-to-Talk call set up and better than mobile call voice quality when deployed on 4G, 3G, and Wi-Fi data networks. InstaPoC runs on Kodiak’s highly available and reliable RTXi platform meeting the heavy real-time communication field requirements of workers in construction, transportation, security, facilities management, utilities, oil and gas and government public safety, for example.
Capabilities of InstaPoC include one-to-one and one-to-many PTT-based communication, centralized dispatch, enterprise-class administration, and next generation features such as availability and call alerts. Sonim and Kodiak have integrated Kodiak’s next generation PTT solution into Sonim’s line of ruggedized devices, beginning with the Sonim XP5520.
