Sonim Technologies today announces the immediate pan-European availability of the XP1301 CORE NFC, the world’s first ultra-rugged Near Field Communications (NFC) mobile phone. Designed especially for cleaning services workers, the XP1301 CORE NFC enhances service delivery quality assurance, measures worker productivity and can improve their safety. The XP1301 CORE NFC works with apps and hosted services from Sonim’s partners that provide include Proof of Activity and Real Time Attendance reporting.
At the Cleaning Management Services (CMS) show in Berlin, Sonim and its partner TUOMI at
Hall 3.2 / Booth 106 are demonstrating the XP1301 CORE NFC. Attendees can also see the XP1301 CORE NFC at A.S.E Ebner & Partner GmBH at Hall 4.2 / Booth 241, running an application solution provided by Sonim’s partner Reslink Solutions Ltd.
CMS attendees will see that at a range up 2 to 4 centimetres, the XP1301 CORE can read or write information to a contactless tag that can be placed:
Data collected by the XP1301 CORE NFC is sent over the mobile network to a server that generates reports, statistics, alerts and other information that can be used to optimize the efficiency, consistency and quality of cleaning service operations. The screen can then prompt the worker of the next action to be taken in the approved sequence. Since the position of the tags is known, the nearest workers or security guards can be mobilized to the location where immediate attention is needed, in the event of accident, injury or attack.
“The XP1301 CORE shakes off the daily rigours of the cleaner’s work environment that cause lesser NFC devices to fail in use, and comes with enterprise level service and support”, said Sanjay Jhawar, VP/GM of Marketing and Applications. He continued, “The extreme reliability of the XP1301 NFC CORE, impervious to frequent drops on floors, into toilets and washing in detergent solution ensures it will withstand hard use every day for three years or more, and deliver a total cost of ownership that allows every cleaner to be equipped”.
Sonim is working with the leading application partners and system integrators across Europe that specialize in NFC solutions for the cleaning industry:
